Notice
In order to add the students’ interest in reading, our school is to hold an activity in Room 201 of
the Teaching Building at 2:00 pm on March 19. All the students are welcome to the activity, where the participants are expected to exchange views about what they have read. Besides, you can recommend books for others to read.
It is hoped that all the students should spend more time reading during the coming winter vacation in order to have something to share with other students. Let’s seize the chance and make good preparations for it!

My Favorite Book
The [Hamlet] is well known. I am one of a large number of fans. It is my favorite book! You have read the book---right? If you read the book, I will be a new friend for you; of course, if you don’t read it, well, I’ll describe the plots for you. I'm sure you’ll like it and be a fan like me!
The author is William Shakespeare. You know him, don’you? He is British. He is one of the most famous authors. The leading character is, of course --- Hamlet.
Now, let me take you go into the book !
This is a sad story of Hamlet, young Prince of Danmark, whose father died two months before the story begins. There was something else which made Hamlet even sadder. His mother , Gertrude, married Hamlet’uncie , Clandius. But Clandius is a bad man, Hamley’ father was killed by him. When he knew the news, he decided to pretend that he had gone in order to have a better chance to kill Clandius. Finally, he killed the Clandius, but his mother and he died, too. Have you known the book? Do you enjoy the plots? Are you a new friend for me? Well, I hope you will say“Yes”. It really can not only improve your level of culture but also help you extend (拓展)your knowledge of the scope(范圍).
