　　When it comes to the topic of keeping pets, some may think it is a waste of bothtime and money; some people, may find it is a great joy. As for me, I hold that keeping pets can bring me happiness.

　　關(guān)于飼養(yǎng)寵物，有的人認為這既浪費時間也浪費金錢，而有的人則認為這是樂趣所在。至于我，我認為養(yǎng)寵物能帶來快樂。

　　Firstly,keeping pets can keep us company when we feel lonely. As we know that it is impossible for us to stay with others all the time, and sometimes we have tostay all by ourselves. At this time we may feel lonely, if you have a pet, itwill help to keep company with you. You can play with your pet and regard it as your friend.

　　首先，寵物能在我們感覺孤獨是陪伴我們，因為我們不可能時刻都有人相伴左右，而有的時候我們更愿意獨處，這個時候可能會感覺孤獨，如果有寵物，它就會是很好的陪伴。我們可以和動物一起玩，可以把它當(dāng)朋友。

　　Secondly,keeping pets makes our world more harmonious. Animals are good friends to us human beings; it will make our world more harmonious to build friendship with them.

　　其次，寵物能讓世界更和諧。動物是人類的好朋友，和動物建立朋友的關(guān)系將會使我們的世界更加和諧。

　　Last but not least, keeping pets makes us more patience. Animal needs careful cares,and we need bath them, feed them and take them out every day, which is time consuming. If we have a pet and can do that every day, we will become more patient.

　　最后，動物會使我們更有耐心。動物需要細心的照料，我們要給它洗澡、喂飯，還要每天帶出去遛遛，這都很費時。如果我們有寵物，并每天這樣照料它，我們會更有耐心的。

　　In a word, keeping pets can keep us company, make our world more harmonious and make us more patient, so I think it is a great for us to keep pets.

　　總的來說，寵物能陪伴我們，讓我們的世界更加和諧，并鍛煉我們的耐心，所以我認為養(yǎng)寵物對于我們來說是很好的。

　　I have got two baby cats. They are very beautiful. One is yellow. The other is white. They are very lovely. The yellow cat is very naughty. He likes to play with people. He often runs here and there. His favourite game is playing with balls, ropes and stones. But the white cat is very gentle. She likes to wash her face. And she doesn′t like to play with people. She often jumps onto my knees. I like to give her a bath.

　　The phenomenon of keeping pets is nothing strange nowadays. And when it comes tothe topic if it’s good for people to keep pets, people have different kinds of opinions.

　　現(xiàn)在，養(yǎng)寵物已經(jīng)是一種很常見的現(xiàn)象了。但是談到養(yǎng)寵物到底好不好的問題時，人們又有不同的觀點。

　　Some people assume that it’s good to keep pets in the house, especially for theolds. The pets can keep them company as well as make them feel safe. As for kids, keeping pets around them makes them more caring and more compassionate which is quite a good way for young parents to educate their children. Moreover, pets can also look after the house and when there’s no one at home.

　　有的人認為在家養(yǎng)寵物是好的，特別是老人來說。寵物能陪伴他們，也能給他們帶來安全感。對于小孩來說，養(yǎng)寵物能使他們更有同情心，這是父母教育孩子的一種很好的方式。再者，當(dāng)家里沒人時，寵物也能看家護院。

　　However,others argue that keeping pets is not good. In, their opinion, keeping pets is not healthy since pets may have some viruses with them which you don’t even know. What’s more, pets’ defecating indiscriminately makes cities dirty. Caring the pets with you when taking public transport like buses is not so convenient,because other people might have a pet allergy.

　　但是，其他人卻覺得這不好。他們認為養(yǎng)寵物并不健康，可能會攜帶一些我們不知道的病毒。更有甚者，寵物隨處大小便會使我們的城市變臟。當(dāng)你乘坐比如公交車之類的公共交通時，攜帶寵物是很不方便的，因為其他人可能會對寵物過敏。

　　As far as I am concerned, it depends on the situation if it’s good to keep a pet ornot. But, no matter what, if one keeps pets, he or she should treat them in the right way. For instance, washing pets regularly to keep them clean, and it’s better don’t carry a pet with you when taking public transport.

　　我認為，養(yǎng)寵物到底好不好應(yīng)該根據(jù)具體情況來定。如果能正確得飼養(yǎng)寵物，這可能會使培養(yǎng)好性格的一種很好的方式。但是一旦養(yǎng)了寵物，就應(yīng)該好好對待它們。例如，定期給它們洗澡，保持干凈；出去乘坐公共交通時，最好不要帶上寵物。
