This evening we went to Happy Valley, the day it was Halloween.
There is a sea of people, almost everyone with masks, some long teeth, some hair all white, and the lotus flower.
First we went to a small house, each go after the cloth are written on the front of the project. I saw a mummy hopping in front of a horror, and I was scared to close my eyes. I'm scared, but I still laugh at those ghosts that look ugly. There is a piece of cloth without writing, we go in, a hand to come over, a look at a person, still walk to the head.

我們剛?cè)サ侥膬�，看到那里有一堆各式各樣的面具，有紫色的，有橙色的，有粉色的，有白色的……我們選 了自己喜歡的面具，英語(yǔ)老師就給我們戴上了，然后，我們就進(jìn)了大教室。那里裝飾得很配萬(wàn)圣節(jié)，老師們用紙做了大蜘蛛、蝙蝠和蜘蛛網(wǎng)掛在燈上。還買(mǎi)了幾只玩具蜘蛛掛在墻上，還做了一些蜘蛛網(wǎng)掛在墻上。她們還買(mǎi)了一些很小的南瓜燈放在角落和比較暗的地方，因?yàn)槟菚r(shí)候沒(méi)開(kāi)燈。
老師們?yōu)榱俗屛覀冇X(jué)得更恐怖，還放了一些恐怖的.歌給我們聽(tīng)。后來(lái)人都來(lái)齊了，老師就拿出來(lái)了一個(gè)壇子，上面有很多動(dòng)物。我們就玩了一個(gè)游戲，游戲規(guī)則是，選兩個(gè)人，老師說(shuō)到什么動(dòng)物，你就得踩到那個(gè)動(dòng)物上面，誰(shuí)踩到的動(dòng)物最多誰(shuí)就贏了。而且，每贏一局就可以得一顆糖果。老師還教了我們“不給糖就搗蛋”用英語(yǔ)怎么說(shuō)。
玩了游戲，老師又帶著我們?nèi)プ瞿瞎蠠�，因�(yàn)槟瞎侠锩娴臒舨粔颍晕覀冎蛔隽艘粋�(gè)橙色的南瓜。做完南瓜燈我們又去用亮粉畫(huà)畫(huà)，我畫(huà)的是一些不一樣的糖果……

10月30日，我去參加了英語(yǔ)的萬(wàn)圣節(jié)聚會(huì)。到了那天，老師讓我為這次的萬(wàn)圣節(jié)發(fā)言。于是老師就給我了一張條。讓我把它背下來(lái)。我?guī)追昼娋捅诚聛?lái)了。老師說(shuō)我是這里最棒的，就讓我多說(shuō)了一句。我馬上就背會(huì)了。
該上場(chǎng)了，我又緊張又激動(dòng)，心怦怦的跳個(gè)不停。終于下場(chǎng)了。下場(chǎng)以后老師還給我了一個(gè)小獎(jiǎng)品。接著我們就去玩了。我和我的好朋友玩的特別開(kāi)心。到走秀了，走秀的時(shí)候還會(huì)分出一，二，三等獎(jiǎng)。很可惜，我穿的.不是萬(wàn)圣節(jié)的衣服。所以沒(méi)被評(píng)上。我下次會(huì)加油的！

when we think of halloween, we think of "trick or treat", pumpkins, jack o' lanterns, vampires and haunted houses. but do you know the origin of halloween? why does it fall on 31 october? what kind of festival is it? why is it so creepy?
halloween dates back to a celtic festival called samhain. november 1 is the new year of the celts, who lived in europe more than a thousand years ago. this is the day which marked the end of summer and harvest. the celts believed that on the night of october 31, ghosts of the dead would return to earth. the celts celebrated samhain by dressing up in costumes with animal heads and having bonfires. many celts settled in britain and ireland, where the festival became popular. those who moved to america took the tradition with them.
nowadays, most people celebrate halloween but only for fun. they are not worried about ghosts. kids in america will dress up as devils or angels and will go from house to house calling "trick or treat", playing mischievous tricks and getting sweets. americans spend more money on halloween than christmas! in xx, more than hk$45 billion was spent on halloween. and hk$15 billion of that was spent on candy alone!!!
kids in britain also dress up at halloween. they visit houses, sing songs or tell a joke to get sweets. many go to halloween parties and play games like "ducking for apples". you must pick up an apple in water but you can only use your mouth. try it!
