Halloween is a holiday celebrated on October 31. By tradition，Halloween begins after sunset. Long ago，people believed that witches gathered together and ghosts roamed the world on Halloween. Today，most people no longer believe in ghosts and witches. But these supernatural beings are still a part of Halloween.
The colors black and orange are also a part of Halloween. Black is a symbol for night and orange is the color of pumpkins. A jack-o'-lantern is a hollowed-out pumpkin with a face carved on one side. Candles are usually placed inside，giving the face a spooky glow.

今天下午，我上完英語課后，我聽到HAPPY老師說：“今天晚上有個叫“萬圣節(jié)英語沙龍”活動，想?yún)⒓拥男∨笥芽梢詠砦疫@里報�！�
我吃完晚飯就來到了新東方的十二教室，參加活動。
活動開始了，JINI老師和我們一起玩了兩個游戲。首先玩的游戲叫“你問我答”，JINI老師用英語問問題，讓我們用英語回答她提的問題，答出來題的人，獎勵一塊糖，答不出來的人呢？罰做大象鼻子轉(zhuǎn)十圈！我答對了三個題，得到了三塊糖。
第二個游戲叫“英語大沖關(guān)”，這個游戲必須分成A組和B組兩個大組，每組有一個組名（就是小組的`名字），我給小組起的名是——小女巫組。這個游戲是每個組請出一位挑戰(zhàn)者，然后石頭剪刀布，誰贏了，誰就會成為最后的勝利者。最后的沖關(guān)是這樣的：先是你要人一些卡片，如果你都會認，那接下來接難了，要你學(xué)大象鼻子轉(zhuǎn)世一圈，然后繞過障礙五到一個水盆旁，用嘴去咬盆里的蘋果，要是你咬到了就獎勵一塊糖，要是沒有咬到就會為另一組加一分。經(jīng)過大家的努力，我們組最后取得了勝利。
這真是一次別有意義的英語沙龍啊！

昨天，我的英語班開了一次聚會，我邀請了尹菲和我放學(xué)一起去參加。
我們剛?cè)サ侥膬�，看到那里有一堆各式各樣的面具，有紫色的，有橙色的，有粉色的，有白色�?……我們選 了自己喜歡的面具，英語老師就給我們戴上了，然后，我們就進了大教室。那里裝飾得很配萬圣節(jié)，老師們用紙做了大蜘蛛、蝙蝠和蜘蛛網(wǎng)掛在燈上。還買了幾只玩具蜘蛛掛在墻上，還做了一些蜘蛛網(wǎng)掛在墻上。她們還買了一些很小的南瓜燈放在角落和比較暗的地方，因為那時候沒開燈。
老師們?yōu)榱俗屛覀冇X得更恐怖，還放了一些恐怖的歌給我們聽。后來人都來齊了，老師就拿出來了一個壇子，上面有很多動物。我們就玩了一個游戲，游戲規(guī)則是，選兩個人，老師說到什么動物，你就得踩到那個動物上面，誰踩到的動物最多誰就贏了。而且，每贏一局就可以得一顆糖果。老師還教了我們“不給糖就搗蛋”用英語怎么說。
玩了游戲，老師又帶著我們?nèi)プ瞿瞎蠠�，因為南瓜里面的燈不夠，所以我們只做了一個橙色的南瓜。做完南瓜燈我們又去用亮粉畫畫，我畫的是一些不一樣的糖果……
今天玩得真開心!希望英語班能多組織一些好玩的活動!
