　　Paul:What do you do for a living?

　　你是做什么工作的?

　　Jing:I am a Chinese teacher from the Confucius Institute.

　　我是孔子學(xué)院的'中文老師。

　　Paul:How long are you here for?

　　你要在這兒呆多久?

　　Jing:For two months.

　　呆兩個月。

　　Paul:Do you like London?

　　你喜歡倫敦嗎?

　　Jean: Yes. I like everything except the weather.

　　除了天氣外我什么都喜歡。

　　常用表達(dá)短語

　　1.What brings you to London? 回答時可以直接說我到倫敦是干什么來的，比如出差 I’m on business;旅游 I’m travelling，或訪友 I’m visiting friends。

　　2.What do you do for a living? 你是從事什么工作的?回答時可以采用“I am a ….”句型。

　　3.How long are you here for? 回答很簡單，一個星期 I’m here for a week; 或一個月I’m here for a month。

　　4.I like everything except the weather. 除了天氣外我什么都喜歡。注意，單詞except 的意思是“除了什么之外”的意思。再比如，除了擁擠的人群我什么都喜歡“I like everything except the crowds.”。

　　Haiwang: What brings you to Brighton?

　　你為什么來布萊頓?

　　Jane: I’m actually travelling around Europe.

　　我其實是在環(huán)游歐洲。

　　Haiwang:Have you been here before?

　　你以前來過這兒嗎?

　　Jane: No. This is the first time.

　　沒有，這是第一次。

　　Haiwang: Are you enjoying your visit?

　　你玩的愉快嗎?

　　Jane: Yes. I’m having a great time. It’s a beautiful seaside city.

　　我很開心，這是個很美的海濱城市。

　　Haiwang: Enjoy the rest of your stay.

　　Have you been here before? 你以前來過這兒嗎?

　　Are you enjoying your stay? 你逗留的愉快嗎?

　　I’m travelling around Europe. 我在環(huán)游歐洲。
