希臘神話故事的英語詞源
As we all know ,the western culture has two sources , one is the Hellenic Culture and the other one is Hebrew Culture ,but what should be mentioned most is the influence which Greek mythology had on the English we use today. Which the influence affected most was that English absorbed some words and continued to use them, and these words were ones which could be divided or could be traced to the source. The Greek mythology had been passed on by oral form until 7 BC. Afterwards, the Greek moved to Italy and transmited the fantastic culture to Rome. The ancient Rome was a really exoteric nation and they had the ability to absorb great culture quickly. Soon, the combined the Greek mythology with their own culture and they gave their Gods Roman names,and that was why Zeus also named Jupiter, Cupid was also Erotic.后來，希臘人開始移居意大利，他們把燦爛的文化藝術(shù)傳到了羅馬。古羅馬是一個(gè)開放的民族，有吸取先進(jìn)文化的非凡才能，很快，他們就把希臘神話吸收過來，并賦予每個(gè)神以一個(gè)羅馬名字，這就是為什么“宙斯”又叫“朱庇特”， “丘比特”又是“厄洛斯”的原因了。
The Greek mythology is just like the magic spring in those fairy tales and they nourish the English words which made so many eautiful stories come into being and strength the vitality of the English words.希臘羅馬神話就像神話故事中的靈泉，滋養(yǎng)著英語的詞匯，產(chǎn)生了許許多多美妙動(dòng)人的詞匯故事，增強(qiáng)了英語的生命力。
