《三只小豬》是由Burt Gillett執(zhí)導(dǎo)的一部動畫作品，于1933年上映，這部動畫片也是三十年代電影極為少有的直接指向二十世紀(jì)三十年代美國大蕭條的電影，影片的主題曲“誰害怕大灰狼”充分表達(dá)了大蕭條時(shí)期人們沒有工作失去家庭的悲苦和哀愁。

　　There were three little pigs: Cicero, Hector and Practical. Each ofthem would make his house to hide from the wolf, which was very bad and likedto eat pigs.

　　從前有三只小豬，名字分別叫：Cicero, Hector和Practical。他們每一個(gè)都要修建一所房子來躲避一只可惡的狼，這只狼喜歡吃小豬。

　　Very soon, Cicero found all the necessary materials. He said, “Hereis a portion of bamboo, glue and string. With those, I will build a very goodhome!”

　　很快，Cicero找到了所有所需的材料。他說：“這里有一部分竹子，膠水和繩子。有了這些，我會修建一所非常棒的房子!”

　　And in an instant the pig Cicero had the house ready. Gleefullybegan to sing:“My house I did, alone and finished, to live in it, happy just likea king!”

　　不久，Cicero就建好了房子。他快樂地唱著：“住在我一個(gè)人修建的房子里面像國王一樣!”

　　The other two pigs continued walking and wanted to make better homes.Hector said, “Hey, little brother! Why do not we stop here? See that greatboards! The wolf cannot take down a house made with them.”

　　另外兩只小豬繼續(xù)往前走，他們想修建更好的房子。Hector說：“嗨，弟弟!我們要不在這兒停下來吧?看見那些很棒的板子了嗎?狼無法摧毀這些板子修建的房子哦!”

　　Hector felt tired and didn't want to walk further. It did not take himmore than a day to make the house. When he was ready, he sang:“My house I did, alone and finished, to live in it happy, happier than a king!”

　　Hector覺得很累，不想往前走了。他用了不超過一天的時(shí)間就修好了房子。修好以后，他唱著：“住在我一個(gè)人修建的房子里面像國王一樣!”

　　Practical had not laziness and worked for four days straight. Butwhen the service ended, the house was solid, made of bricks and cement.

　　Practical沒有偷懶，他連續(xù)工作了四天。修好以后，房子很堅(jiān)固，因?yàn)槭褂么u和混凝土修建的。

　　One day the wolf passed by there and smelled pig, which was hisfavorite food.

　　有一天，狼經(jīng)過他們的家，聞到了小豬的味道，這可是他最喜歡的食物。

　　There goes: one. . . two. . . three! The first blow already broughtdown the house. Bamboos flew through the air and Cicero went flying too.

　　“一，二，三!”只吹了一口氣，狼就摧毀了房子。竹子飛到空中，Cicero也飛起來!

　　Afterwards, the wolf destroyed Hector’s house. Cicero and Hector ranto Practical's.

　　后來，狼又摧毀了Hector的房子。Cicero和Hector跑到了Practical的家。

　　“One. . . two. . . three. . .”The wolf blew with all the strength hehad. But it was no use: the house did not fall. After a while, he decided toclimb down the chimney to go into the house.

　　“一，二，三……”狼用盡全身力氣。但是沒有用，房子沒有倒塌。過了一會兒，他決定從煙囪爬進(jìn)房子。

　　The three little pigs burned the fireplace immediately!

　　三只小豬立刻點(diǎn)燃了火爐!

　　“My tail is burning! Help! Water!” shouted the wolf.

　　“我的尾巴著火啦!救命!水!

　　With the fire, the wolf ran. He never returned there. The threebrothers went to work and built a large and beautiful house of brick andcement, for the three living together.

　　狼燃著火就跑掉了，再也沒有回來。三只小豬一起工作，用磚和混凝土修建了一個(gè)又大又美麗的房子，一起住在里面。
