Then they cut faces in the pumpkins and put a burning candle inside. It looks as if there were a person looking out of the pumpkin! These lights are called jack-o‘-lanterns, which means "Jack of the lantern". The children also put on strange masks and frightening costumes every Halloween. Some children paint their faces to look like monsters. Then they carry boxes or bags from house to house. Every time they come to a new house, they say,"Trick or treat! Money or eat!" The grown-ups put treat-money or candy in their bags. Not only children, but most grown-ups also love Halloween and Halloween parties because on this day,they can disguise themselves as personages or ghost as their imaginations will lead them. This bring them the satisfaction of being young.

星期五晚上，我和我的同學(xué)一起去邦德過萬圣節(jié)。
站在邦德的.門口，有一個(gè)巨大的，恐怖的鬼，迎接著我們，好像一進(jìn)去就到了魔鬼的地獄。
在里面有些同學(xué)都裝成了鬼，但我跟他們不一樣，我裝扮的是女巫。
里面玩的就是餓死鬼投胎，我和我同學(xué)玩，首先用左手摸住耳朵，用右手捻住鼻子，彎下腰，原地轉(zhuǎn)三圈，老師把薯片放到我們的鼻子上，用舌頭吃薯片。我的薯片已落地了，但我的同學(xué)吃到了。她真牛！
馬上萬圣節(jié)就要結(jié)束了，我真想再待在那里玩。
