The marriage issue is one of the most popular novels in the author's work, and is her own favorite. The work vividly reflects the life and the world of English towns in the conservative and closed state of the 18th and early 19th centuries. Its socialized novels not only attract readers, but still give readers a unique artistic enjoyment. She was the first novelist to realistically describe everyday ordinary life.

　　There is no tortuous vigour, there is no twists and turns, but it is this simple fact that has fascinated us so far. Austen's brief life was spent almost entirely in the English countryside, perhaps by the simplicity of her surroundings, and the tranquil atmosphere that gave birth to her indifferent temperament.
