One of my friends with me went to Xiamen in September before the beginning of this term. We spent 5 days there and slept for 4 nights. Personally, I don’t think that it is a wonderful trip. For me, I spent all of my money which was partially saved from my part-time job during the summer vacation and partially from my parents but found that it was a really tiring trip. Maybe it was out of my personality.
We visited Xiamen University, Gulangyu Island, Riyuegu Hotspring, Zengcuoan, Hulishan Fort, Nanputuo temple，Xiamen Museum, Zhongshan Road and so on. The schedule was so full within this five hot days that my feeling of tiredness far surpassed my enjoyment. But one thing moved me. The air there was fresher than here in Xiasha though above their city floated a layer of haze. I was afraid that one day Xiamen would took the same step as Hangzhou and no blue sky left anymore. So we have to took our environmental problem seriously.
Out of the thought that “Adults should go out to see the outside.”, I agreed this travel to Xiamen. After this travel, however, I found that I didn’t belong to the travel-loving group. Comparing with travelling around, I preferred staying at home more. Thus, I would take my next travel pretty seriously.

It's a great pity that you only stay for two days in Beijing that you cannot enjoy every tourist attractions. But you can still visit the attractions of the most representative. Firstly, I suggest you going to the Great Wall, which is the longest wall and one of the eight wonders of the world. It was built by hands only, which seems unimaginable. On the second day, you can visit to the Imperial Palace where you can learn more about Chinese history. It was built in 1406 and there were 24 emperors living in there. And then you can go to Summer Palace or Beihai Park.

But Chinese people have a bad habit, they like to leave some notes on the site, proving them have been here before. Such a behavior has been criticized by the public, because the leaving note will damage the preservation of the tourist site. Most of the tourist sites are part of our country’s historical relics, these sites are priceless, it is everyone’s duty to protect the sites.
When we go to travel, we should behave ourselves. First, we need to have the idea that no rubbish being leaved behind when we leave the site. We should take away what we bring, keep the environment clean. Second, no any notes being written in the sites. Though in the old days, Chinese workers like to leave their names on the sites, but now it is a new world, we need to behave ourselves.
當(dāng)節(jié)假日到來的時(shí)候，成千上百的人聚集在旅游景點(diǎn)，他們想要放松，享受美麗的風(fēng)景。但是中國(guó)人有一個(gè)壞習(xí)慣，他們喜歡在景點(diǎn)留下一些記號(hào)，證明曾經(jīng)在此旅游。這樣的.行為遭到了大眾的批評(píng)，因?yàn)榱粝碌挠浱?hào)會(huì)破壞景點(diǎn)的保存。大部分景點(diǎn)是國(guó)內(nèi)的歷史文物，是無(wú)價(jià)的，保護(hù)文物是每一個(gè)人的責(zé)任。
當(dāng)文明旅游時(shí)候，應(yīng)該要規(guī)范自己的行為。第一，文明需要有這樣的觀念，當(dāng)我們離開景點(diǎn)時(shí)，不能留下垃圾，拿走帶來的一切。第二，不在景點(diǎn)留下記號(hào)。雖然在古代，中國(guó)的文人喜歡留下他們的名字，但是現(xiàn)在是新時(shí)代，我們要規(guī)范自己的行為。

On summer holiday my parents took me to beijing. We stayed at Huabei Hotel. On the first day, we went to the Great Wall. The Great Wall is very long and old. It has millions of bricks. Each brick is very big and heavy. Lots of people from different countries like climbing the Great Wall. We felt very tired when we climbed to the top of the Great Wall.
We also went to the Palace Museum. The Palace Museum has 9999 palaces. It has a very long history. I bought a lot of souvenirs of the Palace Museum. What nice palaces these are! I visited the Palace Museum and felt excited. If you want to know more about the Palace Museum, you can go to beijing and have a look.
The following days, we went to the Summer Palace, Tian Tan, North Lake and Xiang hill. I now know more about the history of China. I also like modern Beijing. The 2008 Olympic Games will be held in Beijing.
Later, I went back with my parents by train. I really enjoyed the trip to Beijing.
I like this trip!
