元宵節(jié)的英語日記

元宵節(jié)來了!在我國的傳統(tǒng)節(jié)日中，它是春節(jié)活動(dòng)的一個(gè)高潮，過了元宵節(jié)，這年才算真正過完了。在古代元宵節(jié)又叫“上元節(jié)”或“燈節(jié)”，到現(xiàn)在已有二千年的歷史了。民間有逛燈會(huì)、社火表演、喝酒、猜謎、放煙花等活動(dòng)，俗稱正月十五鬧元宵。所以呢，元宵節(jié)是一個(gè)“眼睛”的節(jié)日，但同時(shí)也是一個(gè)“嘴巴”的節(jié)日。
我們這兒不是什么古城，沒有什么廟會(huì)，也沒有燈會(huì)，我們有的就是縣政府組織的每年一次的放煙花活動(dòng)。放煙花的地點(diǎn)就定在縣政府門前。大約七點(diǎn)左右。
我們趕去看煙花時(shí)已經(jīng)有一些的晚了，花炮已經(jīng)開始燃放。那里人山人海，熱鬧極了!我們先是看到無數(shù)個(gè)孔明燈升上天空，我連忙許愿。還沒來得及閉上眼睛，只聽一聲巨響，煙花往天空中射去，在天空炸出了美麗的火花，同時(shí)掉下來一個(gè)個(gè)“降落傘”，五顏六色的，美麗極了。有的煙花像火箭一樣，飛上天空，又象花朵一樣綻放開來，射出紅的光，黃的光，綠的光，紫的光，把人看得都入迷了。天空中的煙花越來越多，形態(tài)各異。有的像撐開的傘，有的.像含苞欲放的花朵，還有的像數(shù)十條金色的銀蛇，扭動(dòng)著升上天空。天空好似一幅美麗，迷人的畫面。
我們被罩在五彩斑斕的煙花下面，有一種仙女飛天的感覺;又象是若大的空間，只有我自己在遨游神州。
欣賞煙花之余，“吃”也是必不可少的。宋代已有元宵節(jié)家家吃湯圓的習(xí)俗，取其平安吉利，合家團(tuán)圓之意。賞完煙花，我們也要回家吃湯圓了!
