The mother’s day is a day that we express our sincerely thanks to our mother. This year, the mother’s day is on May 11th. The mother’s day first started from ancient Greek, then the Americans decided that the second Sunday of May is the mother’s day. On this special day, the mothers will receive presents from their children. The gifts could be anything. It is a way that the children show their love and care to their mothers.
As students, we don’t have too much money to buy expensive gifts to our mother, but it doesn’t mean that we can’t do anything to express our thanks to our mothers. We can do something too. I have a few suggestions. For example, we can make a breakfast for our mother, or make a card for her. We can also do some cleaning to reduce mother’s pressure. We can use our lucky money to buy a single carnation. What’s more, we can turn to fathers for help, I think our fathers will be willing to give us some help about what to do on the mother’s day.
The chief thing to remember is that the mother’s day is aimed to spend more time with our mother, and appreciate what she has done for the whole family. I think every mother is great, and everybody should do something to let our mothers know that we love her.

On the morning of May 8, I got up lazily from bed, brushing my teeth, combing my hair and washing my face as usual. Suddenly, I realized that today is a special day, mothers day.
Im going to do something for my mother. After thinking about it, I finally decided to make breakfast for my mother.
Under the guidance of my mother, I took out two cakes and a pan from the fridge. First, turn on a low heat, pour oil, and put the cake in it. I always stood next to it with a shovel. Mom told me that I should take out the eggs and beat them now. I took out the eggs from the refrigerator and knocked the eggs on the edge of the bowl seriously. In fact, I dont know why. After I knocked the eggs, I wanted to put the eggs in. I was going to shovel the cake out of the pot. I was anxious and shoveled the cake into a "rag". My mother told me that I should open it with chopsticks. I listened to my mothers advice, shoveled the "rag" out and opened it. The process of pancake frying is uneven, but the fried egg is quite successful. Roll the cake and eggs together, and a "terrible" breakfast is successfully completed.
An ordinary breakfast has been very difficult for me. My mother has to cook for the whole family every day and constantly change the dishes of various flavors. She has to do all kinds of housework every day. Every day is the earliest and the latest in the whole family. Although she is just an ordinary mother, she pays silently for us. Thank you, mom, for bringing a comfortable environment to the whole family. I wish you a happy mothers day.

We all are gathered here to dedicate this day to the wonderful personality. I am glad to give a speech on this auspicious day. We all have or had in our lives- ‘Mother’, ‘Mom’, ‘Maa’, ‘Amaa’, the words for this most beautiful soul sound similar across most languages and evoke similar connotations of love and warmth. She is like a god to her child. The god cannot be everywhere so he made the mothers to protect his all the children on the earth. We all can identify her as a goddess of multitasking, we say a thing or just give it a thought and she does that from cooking to earning and from pampering to scolding us for our wrong things, she plays her part with utmost love and affection. The mothers are the creator of our existence, she is the one who has made us feel what exactly the life is, she made us alive and has produced virtues within us. Isn’t it?
I think she is the strongest string who attaches the entire family together, she always motivates us and builds our strength and does everything that has can help us to face the world with dignity, confidence and power. Mother is the person who moulds and frames us, the one who build us both physically and mentally and empowers us to face the world. She is like a sunshine for her children and is always the first person whom we can think of our good and bad situations. Mother is the first thought that we all have in our mind when we are not well, when we are sad, when we face the failure in life or when we reach the greatest height of success. Somebody has said it very well that, “Behind every successful man, there is a woman”. I appreciate this quote and have no second thought on this that woman can be none other than the ‘mother’.
She is the one whose prayers are focused just on her child because it is only the mother who carries the entire world in her and has been blessed by God with the power to nurture a complete life in her womb that too with intense love and care. Mother, being the supreme lover, loves her child like nothing else in the world. With her unconditional love and affection, she removes all the troubles that come across her way. She let nothing to stand in her path when it comes to her child. From the day we step into this world till the day we are carried to our final destination we come across many relations- some are to betray you, some to leave us all alone, and some for their own sake. But there is one relation who has no boundaries, no obligations and unconditional love that is “Motherhood”. At I just want to say that you all respect this wonderful gift of God. we should take a pledge not to hurt our mothers and should take the utmost care of them and they did during all their life for making our lives even better. I conclude my speech with the words, “MAA,- to the world you are my mother but to me, you are my world”.
