at all的用法
用于否定句，意為：根本不、一點也不。如：
It wasn’t difficult at all. 這一點也不難。
There was nothing to eat at all. 根本沒什么可吃的。
To try and fail is better than not to try at all. 嘗試而失敗也比不嘗試好。
He speaks an English that I can barely understand at all. 他說的英語，我簡直聽不懂。
It’s quite extraordinary;I can’t understand it at all. 這件事太不尋常了，我根本沒法理解。
He made out that he was a student looking for a job. We later learnt that this wasn’t true at all. 他說他是個在找工作的大學(xué)生。后來我們獲悉這根本不是事實。
注：在否定句中，at all 可位于句末，也可跟在否定詞后。如：
He isn’t tired at all. / He’s not at all tired. 他一點也不累。
另外，在口語中單獨說 not at all, 可用來回答感謝或道歉。如：
A:Thank you very much. 多謝你了。
B:Not at all. 不客氣。
A:I’m sorry to keep you waiting. 對不起，讓你久等了。
B:Oh, not at all. 噢，沒關(guān)系。
用于疑問句，意為：到底、究竟、難道不。如：
Are you at all worried about it? 你難道對此不擔(dān)心嗎？
Do you play poker at all? 你會打撲克嗎？

用于條件句，意為：假若、既然、即使、反正。如：
If you do it at all, do it well. 既然要做，就把它做好。
He’ll come before supper if he comes at all. 他要是來，準(zhǔn)在晚飯以前。
用于肯定句， 意為：不管怎樣，竟然。如：
I was surprised at his coming at all. 我很奇怪， 他竟然來了。
You can come whenever you like---any time at all. 你什么時候想來就來——無論什么時候都行。
