在1935年12月9日這一天，一場(chǎng)轟轟烈烈的愛國(guó)運(yùn)動(dòng)在北平爆發(fā)了，當(dāng)北平的愛國(guó)學(xué)生聽到蔣介石下令“絕對(duì)不抵抗”后，他們像雄獅一樣怒吼起來(lái)，開展了抗日救亡斗爭(zhēng)，掀起了“一二·九”運(yùn)動(dòng)。
面對(duì)他們“天下興亡，匹夫有責(zé)”的民族責(zé)任感;面對(duì)他們“愛祖國(guó)高于一切”的愛國(guó)熱情;我們的心能平靜嗎?
記得20年11月23日，澳大利亞墨爾本世界體操錦標(biāo)賽上，程菲成功地完成了國(guó)際體操聯(lián)合會(huì)以她命名為“程菲跳”。它最大的意義，并不在于許多個(gè)“第一”，而在于它重塑了中國(guó)女子體操的形象，讓世界重新認(rèn)識(shí)了中國(guó)女子體操，為祖國(guó)爭(zhēng)得了榮譽(yù)。

從中學(xué)生課外閱讀來(lái)看，有35%的'同學(xué)喜歡愛國(guó)題材的影片和圖書，另有更多的同學(xué)熱中于武俠小說(shuō)以及言情小說(shuō)。
這說(shuō)明我們有許多的局限：
第一，當(dāng)前我們都是“泛90年代”出生的，缺乏憂國(guó)憂民的基礎(chǔ)。
第二，對(duì)于中學(xué)生來(lái)說(shuō)，我們的生活圈子小，社會(huì)閱歷淺，知識(shí)面較窄，辨別是非的能力差，容易受腐朽思想影響。
第三，當(dāng)前，中學(xué)生升學(xué)壓力大，學(xué)習(xí)任務(wù)重，沒有較多的時(shí)間通過報(bào)刊、電視廣播等途徑獲得新的信息，對(duì)我國(guó)國(guó)情和社會(huì)主義建設(shè)知之甚少。
