Step 1. Greetings and Revision

T: We have learnt lots about scientific experiment, let's learnt something different today.First , let's review some important language points we have learnt before.
Step 2.Lead-in

2) Tell the story about the Easter to the students.
Step 3.New materials
1)Learn new words
2)Think about the following questions:
Have you ever seen an Easter Egg? If yes, where?
When is Easter?
How do people celebrate Easter?
What does Danny buy for Easter?
listen to the English tape and try to understand the main idea.
3)Group discussion.
Discuss the following statements and finish them.
1.An Easter egg hunt is a game for finding eggs.
2.Danny is making an Easter egg hunt for his friend Brian.
3.Jenny brought an Easter basket.
4.They hide chocolate eggs behind rocks and under trees.
5. Debbie doesn’t find those chocolate eggs.
6. They are very happy in the park..

Hunt v. &n. 打獵,搜尋

make for…為……安排,設(shè)計(jì)。
make是一個(gè)多義詞。咱們來(lái)歸納一下該詞的用法:

他不得不賣(mài)菜謀生。(make獲取,賺得)

That egg will be gone! 彩蛋不翼而飛!
gone為動(dòng)詞go的過(guò)去分詞,在本句中轉(zhuǎn)變?yōu)樾稳菰~,表示狀態(tài),消失了,不見(jiàn)了。
E.g.:I looked for the boy, but he was gone.
我剛才找那個(gè)孩子,但他不知哪里去了。
The book Jack put here is gone.
剛才杰克放在這兒的那本書(shū)不見(jiàn)了。

Step 5 Let's Do It !
Using paper, crayons and markers, draw an egg. Make beautiful patterns and color your egg brightly. Cut it out with scissors. Then choose a festival and write it down on your eggs, describe the festivals in English to your classmates and see who can guess which festival you are describing. If right, give your egg to him or h er, if wrong , let him or her describe a new one.
Step 6. Summary.
Sum all the important points mentioned in this class again.
Step 7. Homework
Choose your favourite festival and try to write an small articl e to describe it. Try to make your article interesting.
