一、教學(xué)內(nèi)容分析
本單元以“What are you doing?”引出話題：談?wù)撊藗冋谧鍪裁�？使學(xué)生們學(xué)會如何了解或表述目前的一種狀態(tài)，這即是現(xiàn)在進行時，它表示說話時正在進行的動作或發(fā)生情況，而一般現(xiàn)在時表示經(jīng)常性的狀況或事情。
Section A：聽說為主，感受語言，運用基礎(chǔ)語言( 通過聽、看圖確定或描述人物的動作 ）重點掌握和運用What are you doing? What’s he/she doing? 和Is Nancy doing homework?及其答語等句型。
Section B: 強調(diào)知識拓展，重視讀寫，設(shè)置了要求運用所學(xué)語言完成的各種任務(wù)，使學(xué)生能夠?qū)ι鲜鲆褜W(xué)的目標(biāo)句型運用自如，培養(yǎng)學(xué)生綜合運用語言知識的能力。
Self-check：是詞匯知識的評價，語言運用能力的評價。包括四個部分，對本單元所學(xué)詞匯的檢測、添加生詞、看圖描述，最后在Just for Fun小幽默中輕松愉快地結(jié)束本單元。
二、教學(xué)目標(biāo)分析
根據(jù)《英語課程標(biāo)準(zhǔn)》關(guān)于總目標(biāo)的具體描述，結(jié)合本單元的教材內(nèi)容，我按認(rèn)知目標(biāo)、能力目標(biāo)、德育目標(biāo)三方面將本單元的教學(xué)目標(biāo)細(xì)化：
1． 語言知識目標(biāo)：
語法：了解并掌握現(xiàn)在進行時的用法
詞匯：
交際用語：① What are you / they doing ?
I'm / We're/ They're watching TV.
�、� What’s he /she doing ?
He / She is doing homework.
�、� Is he/ she watching TV?
Yes, he/ she is.
No, he/ she isn't.
2． 語言技能目標(biāo)：
① 能用現(xiàn)在進行時的各種形式進行準(zhǔn)確的描述和表達正在發(fā)生的動作。
�、� 通過情景中的操練，培養(yǎng)學(xué)生的發(fā)散思維能力，激發(fā)學(xué)生的想象力，培養(yǎng)學(xué)生的語言交際能力。
③ 能夠用自己在本單元中所學(xué)的語言內(nèi)容與筆友進行對話與通信。
3． 情感態(tài)度目標(biāo)
① 有明確的學(xué)習(xí)目的，能認(rèn)識到學(xué)習(xí)英語的目的在于交流，敢于用英語進行表達。
�、� 通過小組競賽激發(fā)學(xué)生的學(xué)習(xí)興趣，提高學(xué)生的參與意識，競爭意識與合作意識，使學(xué)生獲得成功的喜悅。
4． 學(xué)習(xí)策略目標(biāo)：
�、偈箤W(xué)生明確自己學(xué)習(xí)的需要，并能根據(jù)需要進行預(yù)習(xí)，在學(xué)習(xí)中善于記要點，把握學(xué)習(xí)的主要內(nèi)容，積極參與課內(nèi)外的英語學(xué)習(xí)活動。
�、谠趯W(xué)習(xí)過程中要求學(xué)生形成合作學(xué)習(xí)和探究學(xué)習(xí)的學(xué)習(xí)方式，引導(dǎo)學(xué)生積極思考，善于抓住英語交流的.機會。

5．文化意識目標(biāo)：①了解西方人是如何表達或描述正在進行的動作。

三、學(xué)生學(xué)情分析
1．學(xué)生特點分析
中學(xué)生心理學(xué)研究指出，初中階段是智力發(fā)展的關(guān)鍵年齡，學(xué)生的觀察能力，記憶能力和想象能力迅速發(fā)展，從年齡特點來看，初中學(xué)生好動、好奇、好表現(xiàn)，從生理特點來看，學(xué)生好動，注意力易分散，愛發(fā)表見解，希望得到老師的表揚，所以要抓住這些特點：一方面要運用直觀生動的形象，形式多樣的教學(xué)方法和學(xué)生能廣泛的、積極主動參與的學(xué)習(xí)方式，定能激發(fā)學(xué)生興趣，有效地培養(yǎng)學(xué)生能力，促進學(xué)生的個性發(fā)展；另一方面要創(chuàng)造條件和機會，讓學(xué)生發(fā)表見解，發(fā)揮學(xué)生學(xué)習(xí)的主動性。
2．知識結(jié)構(gòu)
通過前幾個單元的學(xué)習(xí)，學(xué)生已具有一定的聽、說、讀、寫能力，但其他能力還有待發(fā)展。
根據(jù)本節(jié)課的教材、學(xué)生實際和學(xué)法情況，我以任務(wù)型教學(xué)法為主。以開放性教學(xué)、情景法、交際功能法、提問引入法為輔組織教學(xué)，并用多媒體課件等教學(xué)手段輔助教學(xué)，充分發(fā)揮教師的主導(dǎo)作用和學(xué)生的主體作用。通過任務(wù)型教學(xué)途徑，讓學(xué)生帶著任務(wù)學(xué)習(xí)，在完成任務(wù)的過程中逐漸生成知識、形成技能、達到課堂活動目的，讓學(xué)生有充分展示自己才能的空間，使他們在集體討論、分組討論、同伴討論得到鍛煉和培養(yǎng)，提高聽、說、讀、寫等方面的能力。開放性教學(xué)法開放性地處理教材，結(jié)合教材插入學(xué)生感興趣的圖片、電影片段等，豐富學(xué)生知識，拓寬他們視野，實現(xiàn)知識的整合。
四、教學(xué)策略
《新目標(biāo)英語》中的具體語言目標(biāo)是通過各種各樣的Tasks來實現(xiàn)的；整個教學(xué)過程中，各種語言結(jié)構(gòu)、語言功能與不同的學(xué)習(xí)任務(wù)有機的結(jié)合。教學(xué)的實質(zhì)是交際，為此我選用了以下教學(xué)法：
1 、提問引入法通過提問，集體，分組，分行回答 , 或?qū)W生逐個回答的形式開展教學(xué)，檢查和鞏固新舊知識。
2 、交際功能法通過集體，分組，兩人，個人操練等形式，達到交際的目的。
教學(xué)模式和教師特色
針對本課的內(nèi)容，我采用了五步教學(xué)法：第一步：熱身 -- 激活舊知識，創(chuàng)設(shè)輕松活躍的課堂氣氛。第二步：呈現(xiàn) -- 呈現(xiàn)新內(nèi)容，感知舊內(nèi)容；第三步：操練 -- 用多種方式操練新知識；第四步：鞏固 -- 通過游戲，聽力練習(xí)和筆頭練習(xí)相結(jié)合的方式，鞏固新知識。第五步：應(yīng)用 -- 布置任務(wù)性活動，讓學(xué)生在用中學(xué)，在樂中學(xué)，學(xué)了就用。同時堅持“教師為主導(dǎo)，學(xué)生為主體，任務(wù)為基礎(chǔ)”的教學(xué)原則，在課堂教學(xué)的不同環(huán)節(jié)教師扮演自身作為“設(shè)計者，研究者，組織者，促進者，協(xié)調(diào)者”的角色。所以本課時以任務(wù)型教學(xué)為主，融合直觀教學(xué)法，情景教學(xué)法和交際教學(xué)法，培養(yǎng)學(xué)生口語交際能力，培養(yǎng)學(xué)生觀察能力、英語思維能力和動手能力。

根據(jù)學(xué)生實際，確定本課的難點是：
難點： ① 現(xiàn)在進行時中現(xiàn)在分詞的結(jié)構(gòu)及讀音，能在交際中準(zhǔn)確地運用現(xiàn)在進行時來描述或表達正在進行的動作。
�、� 如何用所學(xué)句型進行綜合運用，尤其在寫作中，要注意寫作內(nèi)容的豐富性和句型的多樣性。

六、教學(xué)過程設(shè)計:
The First Period
Step 1. Flash and presentation:
Ss watch a flash “Are you eating”. Then they sing with it.
T: Yes. They’re eating. And are you eating?
Ss: No, we aren’t.
T: What are you doing, then?
Ss: We’re having an English class.
(Flash 5-1) T: Are they having an English class, too?
Ss: No, they aren’t. They’re cleaning.
T: What’s he doing?
S1: He’s reading a book.
T: And is this boy reading, too?
S2: No, he isn’t. He’s doing homework.
T: What’s this man doing?
S3: He’s talking on the phone.
T: What about the boy?
S4: He’s watching TV.
T: Yes, he’s watching a TV show.
T: Are they watching TV, too?
S5: No. They’re eating dinner.
T: What’s the woman doing?
S6: She’s shopping.
T: What are they doing?
S7: They’re swimming.
T: What’s the girl doing?
S8: She’s taking photos.
T: So what’s in her hand?
Ss: It’s a camera.
Step 2. Chant:
What are you doing? I’m learning, you are teaching.
What are you doing? I’m listening, you are speaking.
What are you doing? I’m writing, you are drawing.
What are you doing? I’m singing, you are dancing.
Step 3. Challenge:
T: Choose and ask and answer about the pictures.
(Ss choose one of their favorite animals and there will be a picture, then they ask and answer in pairs. Using: what’s he/she doing? He’s/She’s …)
Step 4. Tasks:
(Flash 5-1):
1a: Match the words with the activities. Then Ss ask and answer in pairs.
1b: Listen and tell what different people are doing. Write numbers from 1a. Show them the conversations and read them.
1c: Pair work. Ask and answer questions according to the pictures in 1a.
Step 5. Game:
1. Show an action, ask: What am I doing?
2. Get the student who gives the right answer to show an action, too and ask the others: What am I doing.
Step 6. Exercises: (Flash 5-1)
Finish the exercises and check them in class.
Step 7. Homework:
Recite the new words and finish off exercise books.
The Second Period
Step 1 Game and revision:
T: What’s the boy doing in this picture?
Ss: He’s watching TV.
T: Is this girl watching TV, too?
Ss: No. She’s dancing.
T: Well, she’s my cousin. She’s lovely. She’s doing many things. And I’ll show you the pictures very quickly and try to guess what she’s doing. Work in pairs, ask: Is she…? Yes, she is. /No, she isn’t. She’s…
Step 2. Game and practice:
Flash 5-2:
T: Look at this girl, her name is Mary. Can you guess what she’s doing?
S1: Is she doing homework?
(Show the whole picture)
S2: No, she isn’t. She’s playing with a bird.
Get Ss to ask and answer in pairs about other pictures.
Step 3. Tasks:
1. T: What’s Steve doing, do you know?
Ss: …
T: Listen and tell me what he’s doing.
(Ss listen and answer the two questions in 2a.)
2b: Put the questions and answers in order to make a conversation. Then Ss read the conversation together.
3a: Write the correct numbers of the pictures next to the conversations. Ss read the conversations and make their own conversations.
4: Pairwork: Look at the pictures and answer the questions. Then cover the questions and say what’s happening in the pictures. Then show the correct answers and Ss read and retell the whole story.
Step 4. Homework:
Ss finish off their exercise book as the homework.
