          Task1

School is planning to forbid the use of cellphone on campus. What do you think are the effects of the policy?

          Sample Answer:

The prohibition of using cellphone has both positive andnegative effects on students.

Merits are that cellphone is a useful tool for students inmany aspects of their daily lives. The multifunction of a cellphone can be alot help to them when it comes to checking new vocabularies and learning extracurriculum online.

However, One the other hand, the misusage of this tool canbe a disaster for students study and health. When they obsessively cling to itand get distracted by the information considered negative for students, chancesare that their performance in study and also physical condition will both headingdownward.

          Task2

Do you agree or disagree with the statement that studentsshould be rewarded if they perform well at school?

          Sample Answer

From what I know, I would agree with the statement thatstudents should get praised when their parents have a positive feedback of themfrom school. There are several reasons that I would point out here.

Firstly, the motivation for students to continue to workhard as before or even harder than before, I would assume that the award is astimulus to students who have a remarkable performance at school. It makesperfect sense for parents to do so.

Secondly, the satisfaction for students to be happy, thetedious process of studying is really hard for students to take at school. Ifthey can receive any kind of gift as the encouragement for their hard work, itwill really make them feel relieved.

          Task3

The professor plans to use a research paper rather than atest for the final.
