Calligraphy is the essence of Chinese culture, which has developed into a special high-level art apart from satisfying theneeds of daily writing. It has been flourishing for thousands of years inChina.

Shopswith strong commercial atmosphere will gain some elegance if they are decoratedwith some quaint cultural calligraphic works. Sitting rooms, studies andbedrooms can be nice-looking with calligraphy works decorated.

As a kind of artwork, the writing of calligraphy is particular.

          中國英語作文 篇5

What I will talk about here may be radical to many and arouse criticism. I still think things definitely go wrong with the present educational policy.

Students, whether they be small children or college boys, or even post graduates, are oriented to the passing of a disgustingly variety of tests/examinations. How often (virtually every night) do we see first graders bending for hours over homework, the sole purpose of which is to have high scores in exams so that they might go to better middle and high schools. When they are in high schools, things get worse. They will be still more exhausted preparing for the college entrance examination. And the toiling circle does not stop here. They will worry about further exams.

Good examination results determine one’s future. Under such influence everything can be sacrificed, including the students’ health, parents’ money, and most importantly, the quality of education, by which I mean genuine knowledge and skills which can not and should not be tested with exam scores.

The outcome of such faults in the educational policy, although not intended, is that so many a student becomes sort of expert at doing exams and scores high. But they are not competent when they take up their careers. Such is the tragedy of the present education.

Authorities may not admit the disturbing situation, but as an educator myself, I hold the issue self-evident. Things will have to be done to reverse the trend.

          中國英語作文 篇6

the spring festival and christmas have much in common. Both are prepared to create a joyous atmosphere; both offer a family reunion with a square feast: and both satisfy the children with new clothes, lovely presents and delicious food. However, the chinese spring festival has no religious background while christmas has something to do with god and there is santa claus with white heard to bring children presents. The westerners send each other christmas cards for greetings while the chinese people pay a call on each other.

nowadays, some of the chinese youth has begun to celebrate christmas, following the example of the westerners. Perhaps they do so just for fun and out of curiosity.

Look forward to it, the spring girl has come back, the Spring Festival is also coming, the streets and lanes are filled with strong festive taste. The family are all happy, hang up red lanterns, stick to Red Spring Festival couplets, and set off firecrackers. And everywhere is the flow of people, those who have worked hard for a year, have come out of the house, everyone's face is hanging a happy smile.

The streets were filled with red lanterns, and each tree was still holding a color wire, and it was beautiful. And there are some firecrackers from time to time. Many stores have closed the door, come home and reunite with their relatives, enjoy the good time of the festival!

Although there are a lot of things in the Spring Festival, I still like the thirty nights of the Spring Festival, especially in the Spring Festival.

At night, the mother, who had been in the kitchen for a day, finally cooked the meal. I, my parents, my brother, the family sat around the table and gathered together. Table dishes are also more abundant than usual, more delicious, poultry meat and eggs, can be attractive table delicacies from land and sea. After dinner, our family still had a chat around the table, drank tea, and had a lot of melon and fruit desserts on the table, olives, melon seeds, plum and orange...

By eight, the Spring Festival Gala began, and our whole family could not wait to sit in front of the TV. In the party, there are songs and dances, and there are also sketches, crosstalk, acrobatics... I can be busy, but all eyes, and TV closely, for fear of missing a good program. Every program is wonderful, one is more interesting than one, one is better than one. We see the family and sometimes uproarious full of joy. At about twelve pm, every family began to put up red firecrackers, the sound like a particularly loud Mountains fall and the earth splits.. When the firecrackers were almost finished, the families put up the fireworks again. "Sou! Sou! Sou!......" The colorful fireworks are like the beautiful flowers open in the sky: some red like roses, and some yellow like chrysanthemum... A string of fireworks like a fairy like, very good-looking, to decorate the new year's night sky more beautiful!

Looking at it, I also want to set fireworks for myself. I immediately picked up the fireworks stick and let my father lit the fire. At once, a fireworks flew into the air like a steed, but it was beautiful.

This evening, I can't sleep with excitement.

How I hope, 20xx's Spring Festival can come soon!

bicycles are very popular in china. in this country you can see bicycles almost everywhere. when you walk on the road, you will find a lot of people riding bicycles to school, shop, and wherever the riders want to go. therefore, china is known as "the kingdom of bicycles", where on the average every family has one or two bicycles.compared with cars, bicycles have many advantages. first, they are much cheaper than cars, which most chinese cant afford. secondly, bicycles are small enough to park anywhere, while cars need a large piece of land to be parked. whats more, with lower speed, bicycles are safer than cars.

however, bicycles create some problems. some riders dont abide by traffic regulations and some dont take others safety into consideration while riding too fast. during rush hours, too many bicycles may cause traffic jams. thereforet we have a long way to go to solve the problem.

Last Qingming Festival,I return home to worship my grandfather.Qingming

Festival is a folk Festival. In the past,In the past, the Qingming Festival was called "Arbor Day". But Today, Chinese visit their family graves to tend to any underbrush that has grown. Weeds are pulled, and dirt swept away, and the family will set out offerings of food and spirit money. Unlike the sacrifices at a family's home altar, the offerings at the tomb usually consist of dry, bland food. One theory is that since any number of ghosts rome around a grave area, the less appealing food will be consumed by the ancestors, and not be plundered by strangers.

With the passing of time, this celebration of life became a day to the honor past ancestors. Following folk religion, the Chinese believed that the spirits of deceased ancestors looked after the family. Sacrifices of food and spirit money could keep them happy, and the family would prosper through good harvests and more children.
